inspired by Dan McCaw via Ivy Newport class--abstraction -used pallet knife and brush  ( photographed pale because of paints --chrome, irterference, pearlscent and iridescent)

Being a redhead I just had to do this :) I combined 2 lessons Ivy newport class

the monochromatic repose and from the lesson before -application of gel over surface for interest and texture and then adding paint again. I used regular gloss gel, gloss glazing fluid and Daniel Smith acrylics some quinacridone and duochrome trying to get a hi gloss acrylic painting (size 5x7) Interesting and fun to do especially for a non-school trained artist as myself. first photo start of painting-next after gel application
