An Internet class prompt that was not working out for me so I deconstructed it by putting another layer of different paints and gesso over -got to this point and left it "a foggy myriad of feelings unfinished."

Being of the young minded group of those in their late 70's I guess, I am a little sensitive of the characture of those my age when so many of us are so not the little old ladies depicted. As directed in an interenet group "Ladies with Character", I drew my faces and then studied them for a while to see what their activity would be. Hence "Mother and Daughter all decked out to go out for a good time together." ( the joy of a daughter in her 50's and a mother in her 70's being together...sand and

Summer time here and my gardens are full of rabbits I did a class prompt from From Pia

paint your heart and soul 2018  but deviated somewhat. I so liked the effect of the background as it stood alone . Lookng at it I thought of any entry to a garden so I decided to do the garden rabbit on a separate board outside the gardn . I have paired the two. This was a relaxing fun project

3 Klimt inspired art pieces
Darla Deiparine
My first a charcoal
The second pencils,pens and chalk

lastly my 3rd was done incorporating the many eras of Klimt's diverse art periods. Erotism (nude girl), trees, cottages, buildings,(landscapes combining water, vegetation and buildings) cottage gardens, forest pictures with, design elements, some cubism and blending of woman and floral
ornamention. He used a lighter hand and he looked at landscape as if it was a women. I used acrylic for this.on a 10x10 square canvas ( Kimt likied to use a square canvas -an atmosphere of peace he said.) I found he and I are alike in that we both like to do female studies.  I couldn't fit the water element in to the scene but I have imaged she has come out of the lake with her towel around her shoulders drying off :):)

the dragon and the phoinex (yang and yin)

3 inspirations from PYHAS 2018 week 25 26 27 background acrylic inks and fluid acrylic (Tina Berendsoh) lesson but didn't feel like doing collage so I-looked at what appeared and I saw right away a dragon and then the phoenix (according to lore the perfect couple) I outlined one in black and one in white. Thinking of Katrinia Koltes lesson I had the dragon. Rather than a photo I added myself as the painter (stencil stamped and overcoated with pen. I also was thiniking of Mystele 's comment "the finished product is not the heart of Art-it is the proce

ss and learning.. I also could add watching what appears.

My own inspiration "playing with acrylic inks-an abstract"  I like the little black and orange images which evolved.
Inspired by Yvonne Morell lesson on doing "Ladies with Character"
I did this acrylic upon  a 12'x16' sand and gesso canvas base  by first drawing the characters with charcoal.  I named it "Friends out to Lunch-waiting for their Table -each with their own thought." I loved giving them facial and body character so mch fun.
It's been 6 months since I have done any artwork mainly because I was  in Florida for the winter. Now that I am home again I have gotten out my artist hat a due to inspiration from Internet Art Groups and Workshops that I have been viewing.

This is an 12x16 canvas of acrylics and oil pastels  (Inspiration Lucy Jorden)  Her inspiring words "take risks enjoy yourself."
