My "take off" from Mystele Kirking's cup and girl project. It certainly was a process for me . I started to make her with background markings etc but she didn't like it and wanted to be in a very simplistic, subdued setting with herself minimalized and thoughtful :) So I had to paint out what I had started in the lesson plan so she would have "a cup of calm."
