Last Winter The Milwaukee Art Museum had a show on Impressionism and after seeing it I found at the Naples Saturday Market a large book on Impressionism selling for 2 bucks (a steal!) I love the work of the early masters of Impressionism. I have a girlfriend who was interested in learning acrylic painting and impressionism so she spurted my interest in trying it myself. I went on the internet and found various sites and museum tours high lighting Impressionism. Here are a few examples of my first attempts in Impressionism

the first photo is the start of the painting and the second is the final painting. I am now thinking about glazing the painting to soften the tones.
